  • On November 6, the Stevens Point School Board is asking taxpayers for funds to improve and enhance Stevens Point Schools.  The plan being presented to voters aims to adequately finance the District's strategic plan to foster growth and retain quality staff, as well as responsibly manage facilities and operations district wide.

I am hopeful that everyone locally is becoming more familiar with the issues at hand embodied in the two separate Referendum questions to be included on the November 6 election ballot.  Each district citizen owes it to themselves to become familiar with the background specifics on each question and consequences / outcomes that will result; depending on the collective vote from the citizenry.
